Dr. Kelly Wills, Psy.D., is a post-doctoral resident who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from National Louis University in Tampa, Florida. Her previous experiences have been primarily at college counseling centers as well as conducting psychodiagnostic testing at a community mental health center. She has facilitated groups for DBT skills as well as developed and led groups for anxiety-related disorders and body image concerns. Her areas of interest include working with the LGBTQ+ population, underserved populations, gender and identity issues, anxiety-related difficulties, and eating and body image concerns. She works from an integrative and interpersonal theoretical orientation, incorporating mindfulness-based approaches. Kelly strives to help her clients towards becoming their authentic selves and living life true to who they want to be.
Dr. Wills considers herself to be a “down to earth” and empathic person with a relaxed style who will meet you where you are in your therapeutic journey. She enjoys making genuine connections with her clients and watching them grow with a renewed outlook within themselves as well as life. You will find that her sessions are at times filled with laughter, tears, and deep breakthroughs. She provides a private, safe, collaborative, and warm environment to better understand and navigate the difficulties life can hand us.
